Description for OutBank (S60 3rd edition) 2.17:

"There is a bank in my pocket!" Mobile banking wherever you are and whenever you want!

There are more and more security attacks to your PC system. No need to worry about phishing attacks if you use OutBank on your mobile device Save time and money - just take your mobile and start banking On holiday or a business trip - you always know whats going on with your accounts Go green - why uses all that power to run your PC when you can bank from your mobile Check your account balance realtime - "Salary already there?" For the last year OutBank has been the best and most used mobile banking application for Symbian OS (Nokia S60 and Nokia Communicator) After you have installed the application on your Smartphone, OutBank allows you to manage your accounts from different banks very easily and securely via your mobile phone. Based on the accredited German safety standards HBCI and FinTS your encoded account data will be transmitted between your bank or your thrift institution and your Smartphone. In contrast to WAP-Banking all information is transmitted using secure internet encryption (SSL). In addition, there is no third-party component (e.g. a proxy) in between, meaning your financial information is safe. That means that the transmitting volume and the duration will be reduced to a minimum.

Thus, MobileBanking with OutBank is to a considerable degree less expensive and in addition significantly more convenient than WAP- or SMS-Banking.

Fill in your bank transfer without any hurry. The data will only be sent to the bank when all of the information is existent. For GPRS or UMTS the amount of data thereby incurred will be minimal – for example, an inquiry of your account balance requires only about 5-7 Kbyte.

All of the data will be saved locally in a password protected and encoded data base so that you have an offline insight in your retrieved account balances.

Additionally you can manage your daily finances, your cash expenses by using offline accounts, e.g. for keeping track of your creditcard expenses (cash management).
