* 4 massive clay worlds to explore
* 20 challenging levels of squishy side-scrolling fun
* A range of powerups to enhance your firepower and boost your score
* Fantastic music soundtrack inspired by classic Commodore 64 games

Description

Based on the cult classic for PC and Mac, Platypus is a fast, frantic and fun side-scrolling arcade shooter with a difference - the entire game is made from clay! The vast continent-spanning city of Collosatropolis has finally reached the limits of its expansion, and tall buildings cover every available space. The Collosotropolan leaders have decided the simplest solution is to invade the neighbouring country of Mungola. They don't anticipate much of a struggle - Mungolans are simple, earthy types without much love for industry. In fact, Mungola's entire defence force consists of a single squadron of fighter planes - the venerable F-27 'Platypus'.

Your mission is to pilot your trusty Platypus and save peaceful Mungola! Fly across the squashy fields and trees, avoid the snowy mountains and protect your planet. Shoot down the enemy ships and marvel as they disappear in a splat! Collect fruit bonuses and a range of power-ups to aid you in your quest!

MobileRediff updated its application to version 1.04 with the addition of a very useful phonebook backup option to the service.

Launched recently, the Java-based application enables users to keep a check of their email, send messages and browse news while on the move. The email application found the most use with its Gmail App like interface finding many takers. Other services like News were text message based.

The latest update to the application adds a cool phonebook backup option that would allow you to backup your entire phonebook contacts to the rediffmail server. This can prove to be extremely useful in cases of a handset theft when you are left with none of your contacts. Once you back up the contacts, you can download it back to your phone any time you wish to.

Napoleonix is a logical turn-based strategy game for two players (though it can be played by one person against the computer as well). The game presents a successful combination of strategic and tactical planning employed in turn-based strategies, it also has some elements of applying physiological pressure towards the opposer (bluff being one of them) which are used in a number of card games. The main thing about this game is that your opposer doesn’t know where your bulk strength is dislocated. This makes it possible to carry out diversionary maneuvers, complicated readjustment of force, make attacks and commit counterattacks. So, the main goal of the strategy is to get the actual information on where the opposer’s forces are dislocated.

FEATURES:

* NEW! Campaign mode with 12 missions;
* NEW! Player profile screen;
* NEW! 8 ranks and 21 medals;
* Enhanced graphics and user interface;
* Multiple slots for storing dispositions;
* Music and SFX;
* TCP/IP multiplayer;
* 3D mode;
* Hi-Res on VGA devices.

GDesk is the software solution that gives your mobile exactly the kind of desktop you need. It does this by allowing you to create a personal desktop on your mobile - you can add anything to it that you want, making your phone much more accessible. Simply place icons of your favourite and most-used mobile applications onto the desktop, these can be applications, page links and plug-ins. Plug-ins can be added at any time and further functionality is promised over time.

GDesk is very simple to use. Just click an application on your mobile to choose it for the desktop and a large icon will automatically load onto the display. These icons are clear and eye-catching; the only problem is they are very large which affects how many you can fit on the desktop. Choose your apps wisely is my piece of advice. It really does make using your mobile much easier though bringing all your apps within just one click.

The long awaited Symbian version of Opera Mobile browsers v9.5 is finally available for symbian devices, actually for UIQ powered and touch equipped devices!

Opera today announced the launch of Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta 2 which introduces Opera Widgets to the public, enabling one-click Web content access and released the very first Beta for UIQ based phones which is available for free download from Opera site.

"Opera has built its second Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta based on user-generated feedback following its first public release earlier this year," said Jon von Tetzchner, CEO, Opera Software. "In addition to Opera Widgets, this new test version promises to be a smoother ride than the previous version, as we have improved page loading times and increased our focus on end-user productivity." Unfortunately it is still not available for the world largest Smartphone platform and millions of S60 devices but at least this is a pretty good sign that Opera didn't abandoned Symbian platform and that
they are actually working on the Symbian port of it's latest mobile browser.

So what is the next step? Fifth edition version optimized for Nokia Tube and its great High resolution screen or maybe the 3rd ed version
optimized for non-touchscreen devices!?
